Physicochemical Measurements of pottery

Various physicochemical measurements are used in typological and comparative archaeological studies with the aim of providing more objective scientific results. Below are images of samples that have been measured by the Archaeometry Laboratory and some related publications that have been made in the context of the Department’s projects and collaborations with a variety of agencies.
